Channel Support Engineer

Your primary responsibilities will be to support channel partners in all technical aspects of their sales process including RFI/RFP, meetings, presentations, demonstrations, lab-trials and installations. The Channel Support Engineer must have excellent customer relationship skills as well as networking knowledge. The position is the primary link between our channel partners, customers and our product line.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Demonstrating, presenting and articulating overall product solutions, features, and benefits
  • Manage and expand our existing customer base by developing technical and professional business relationships with Channel partners
  • Develop and deliver custom presentations and demonstrations in a professional manner by:
    • Understanding the customer's technical needs and requirements
    • Developing proposals for customers on technical products and services
  • Supporting and/or performing lab trials and proof-of-concept to clients, OEMs, users, partners
  • Support partner marketing programs and activities
  • Proactively contacting channel partners to develop long-term relationships and follow up on opportunities
  • Developing technical presentations and workshops
  • Maintain and document your customer interaction and activity using our web-based sales automation tool
  • Maintaining up-to-date awareness of activities, industry trends & competitive products

Qualifications

We are seeking goal-oriented and energetic individuals with the desire to make partners happy. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic with a professional attitude and personal motivation for success. In addition, we are looking for candidates with;

  • 2+ years of relevant technology or software industry experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a technical audience
  • Motivated to have an positive impact on our products, our company, our partners and our customers
  • Highly flexible and motivated individual, with outgoing personality and positive attitude
  • Well organized and detailed oriented
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferable, however equivalent field experience with the right background with the desire and ability to learn is possible.
  • Excellent customer relation skills
  • Ability to travel if requested
  • Hold a credit card and valid driver's license
  • Pass a background check and drug test
